The Personal Banker Associate has responsibilities as both a Teller and a Personal Banker. The Personal Banker Associate must efficiently process a variety of customer transactions, generate business and deepen relationships by promoting products and services to potential and existing customers. Responsibilities include providing high quality customer service while achieving sales goals and supporting banking center staff as needed. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer-focused environment Provide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supporting the banking center staff as needed Build and maintain relationships with customers to help identify financial products and services that meet their needs Promote financial products and services Open deposit accounts and take loan applications, process consumer loan/credit line requests for customers Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to internal controls and procedures Generate new business and expand relationships with current customers through networking and Centers of Influence Respond to customer inquiries and concerns and create positive solutions Support other employees as needed
