About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Personal Assistant to support a
friendly and engaging adult with developmental disabilities. This role focuses
on community engagement, daily living support, and companionship.

The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, is patient and attentive, and
values helping others live full, connected lives.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Experience in caregiving, human services, or a related field preferred
• Willingness to complete CPR and First Aid training (provided)
• Kind, dependable, and patient personality
• Strong communication skills
• Comfort working independently
• A genuine interest in supporting individuals with disabilities

Responsibilities

• Support participation in community activities such as: Shopping, errands, and outings
• Visiting friends and family
• Walks and local events
• Provide light daily living support: Prompting for grooming and hygiene routines
• Ensuring overall safety and well-being
• Assist with simple meal preparation (primarily lunch)
• Provide companionship through shared activities (e.g., watching movies, conversation)
