About The Position
AKHIRE is currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant / Caregiver in Juneau, AK. This is a full-time or part-time position with 8, 12, or 24-hour shifts. The start date is ASAP.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED/equivalent; Minimum age - 18 yrs.
- Ability to pass State of Alaska Background Check.
- Valid vehicle operator's license and a clean driving record.
- Current vehicle insurance meets the state minimum requirement.
- Working availability including evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist individual with daily living and care skills such as self -care, meal preparation, transportation, etc.
- Assist individual on accessing a variety of activities such as going out to eat, the movies, shopping, etc.
- Works with individual and family in a compassionate and understanding manner.
- Maintain positive and effective communication with all other staff members.
