About The Position
rabbittransit's mission is to provide transportation for the community. The role of a rabbittransit operator is crucial, extending beyond simply transporting passengers from point A to point B. Operators are essential workers who help people gain mobility. Shared Ride Operators are responsible for safely and courteously transporting passengers, ensuring vehicles pass daily inspections, assisting passengers with wheelchairs or other mobility devices, maintaining accurate driving records, communicating with dispatch, and reporting to the Site Manager/Operations Supervisor as needed. By offering safe and reliable transportation, operators connect individuals to experiences they might otherwise not access.
Responsibilities
- Safely and courteously transport passengers
- Ensure vehicles meet daily inspections
- Assist passengers with wheelchairs or other mobility devices
- Keep accurate driving records
- Communicate with dispatch
- Report to the Site Manager/Operations Supervisor as needed
