Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in permitting for civil infrastructure, telecom, energy, or solar projects
HS Diploma/equivalent required
Detail oriented, with strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
Strong understanding of permitting and zoning processes across multiple jurisdictions
Familiarity with AutoCAD 2024 or newer and Microsoft Office Suite is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Must be able to travel and to perform site visits or attend meetings/hearings as needed
Requires a valid, clean driver’s license and personal vehicle

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus
experience with GIS tools, AutoCAD, and permitting software is a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare, submit, and track permit applications for telecommunications, solar, energy, and civil engineering projects
Liaise with municipalities, utility companies, and governing bodies to facilitate approvals
Interpret zoning laws, environmental regulations, building codes, and agency requirements
Support due diligence and site acquisition teams by identifying permitting risks
Maintain permitting databases and logs to ensure all documentation is up to date and audit-ready
Provide updates to internal stakeholders regarding permit timelines, conditions, and delays
Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure compliance with zoning and permitting requirements
Attend public hearings, planning board meetings, or site visits when necessary
All other related duties as assigned
