About The Position

The Permitting/Installation Coordinator plays a crucial role in the home services team by managing the permitting process and supporting installation scheduling. This position ensures that all necessary permits are obtained and that projects are executed seamlessly and on time, requiring strong communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience in permitting coordination, preferably within the home services or construction industry.
• Strong sense of urgency, experience in scheduling, and great customer service skills.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal permitting processes and regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate with external stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and handle time-sensitive tasks with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track all required permits, licenses, and inspections for installation projects.
• Communicate with local government offices to ensure compliance with regulations and expedite the permitting process.
• Coordinate with the installation team to schedule and monitor project timelines, ensuring permits are obtained before work commences.
• Maintain accurate records of all permit applications, approvals, and related documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams regarding permit and installation statuses.
• Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination from project initiation through completion.
• Resolve permit-related issues, including resubmittals or inspections, to avoid delays.
• Monitor permit expiration dates and ensure timely renewals if needed.
• Ensure all compliance requirements are met prior to installation, including zoning and environmental considerations.
