About The Position
The Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal is seeking a candidate for a time-limited Personal Services Contract who possesses technical expertise in the field of permanently moored crafts (formerly known as permanently moored vessels). The selected candidate for this contract will review the language proposed by the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal (OSFM) for revisions to Title 41 Ill. Adm. Code 149, Permanently Moored Craft Fire Prevention and Safety, for accuracy and applicability. The candidate will also assist OSFM on an as-needed basis with questions pertaining to the ongoing Part 149 Permanently Moored Craft Program. This position will provide an average of 8-20 hours per month of work.
