About The Position

Meadowbrook Academy is currently seeking to hire a full-time Permanent Substitute Teacher for the remainder of the 25/26 school year. This individual should be an active and dedicated Christian who is, or willing to become, a member of Meadowbrook Church. A person who will hold in confidence matters of information that may be sensitive to the well-being of others. A person committed to excellence in their responsibilities. JOB GOAL: To provide consistent instructional coverage and student support across all grade levels (PreK–12), ensuring continuity of learning, student safety, and a Christ-centered environment when teachers are absent, and to assist instructional staff as a secondary paraprofessional when substitute coverage is not required. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited educational institution preferred.
Certified or working toward certification by the State of Florida preferred.
Born-again, Spirit-led Christian with regular attendance at Meadowbrook church or a church with similar beliefs.
Ability to work flexibly across all grade levels (PreK–12) and subject areas as assigned.
Knowledge of child growth and development across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Ability to adapt quickly to varying classroom environments, grade levels, and instructional expectations.
Knowledge of and ability to follow Florida State Standards and school-provided curriculum resources.
Basic understanding of instructional technology, including Newline Smart Boards, Skyward SIS, and IXL.
Understanding of varied learning styles and ability to implement teacher-provided lesson plans.
Strong classroom management, supervision, and student engagement skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain a safe, orderly, and Christ-centered learning environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
