The Permanent Install Tech I position at Barricades Unlimited is an entry-level role focused on supporting the installation and maintenance of traffic control devices and barricades. The technician will work closely with the Permanent Install Crew Chief and other team members to ensure efficient operations, maintain safety standards, and deliver quality service to customers.

  • Arrive at the Warehouse, shop or yard prepared to work at the beginning of the shift.
  • Follow work instructions to ensure consistent service and product quality.
  • Recommend measures to improve efficiency, service quality, product quality, and safety.
  • Maintain all work areas, vehicles, and work sites in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment on site.
  • Notify Permanent Install Crew Chief or supervisor on site of any quality or safety-related concerns.
  • Keep Permanent Install Crew Chief informed on all ongoing activities.
  • Demonstrate initiative by evaluating situations and making decisions based on facts and solid judgments.
  • Act in a manner that represents the professional manner reflecting the company's values and principles.
  • Maintain a cooperative working relationship with employees.
  • Constantly look for and suggest ways to perform duties and responsibilities more effectively.
  • Perform duties in a manner that is compliant with all applicable regulatory bodies, i.e., Texas DOT.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned by the Permanent Install Crew Chief or other supervisors.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must hold a valid Texas Drivers License (CDL a PLUS).
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
