About The Position

The internship program at BJ's Wholesale Club offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional development over an 11-week period. Interns will gain exposure to meaningful skills in warehouse operations, including staffing plans, merchandise flow, and safety practices, while also engaging with senior leadership through various activities. This program aims to prepare interns for potential permanent placement within the company.

Requirements

• Positive leadership skills.
• Supply chain acumen is a plus.
• Able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in-person 5 days a week onsite.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable working in fluctuating temperatures including freezing temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit.

Responsibilities

• Work with DC leaders to understand general warehouse operations including daily staffing plans and cross-dock processes.
• Ensure efficient merchandise flow between departments and maintain asset integrity on outbound shipments.
• Supervise the timely and accurate receipt, staging, quality control, and crossdocking of merchandise.
• Prioritize high shrink merchandise to reduce potential loss.
