About The Position
Position Overview: The Perioperative Care Technician assists the Physicians and Registered Nurses within Surgical Services pursuant to the objectives and policies of CMHs. To facilitate a smooth transition between surgical procedures and assist nursing staff in the maintenance of a clean environment. Training is 4-5 weeks on 8-hour shifts. Once training is complete, primary shift will be 12-hour shifts. When it comes to quality, we're 5 Star! Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One (1) year prior work experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Nice To Haves
- Undergraduate degree
- Completion of a Medical Terminology course
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Previous health care experience
