This role is for a skilled and compassionate RN with OR and PreOp experience looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in patient care. The position is open to being cross trained in preoperative, postoperative and the intraoperative phases. As a Full-Time Perioperative RN at Chattanooga Pain Center, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing various pain relieving surgical procedures. Working closely with our experienced surgical team, you will contribute to ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients throughout the perioperative process.

Requirements

  • Skilled and compassionate RN with OR and PreOp experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the surgical team to plan and implement patient care during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, providing appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with anesthesia administration.
  • Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies.
  • Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities.
