Perioperative PCT (Patient Care Technician) - Moorestown Surgery Center
About The Position
Assists the Clinical team in providing indirect patient care, plus has non patient care responsibilities to include but not limited to turning over rooms, pharmacy/specimen pickup or delivery, setting up equipment for cases and patient transporting. Contributes to quality patient care by serving as a significant member of the health care team. The Cooper Surgery Center at Moorestown is a modern outpatient facility with six operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and an interventional radiology suite. Patients receive seamless care from pre-operative assessment through recovery, supported by a skilled surgical team and advanced technology. Specialties include general, orthopedic, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, vascular, and other minimally invasive procedures designed for faster recovery and greater comfort. Care goals are designed to reduce pain, limit complications, and help patients return to normal activity sooner.
Requirements
- Acute Care Hospital experience preferred. (i.e.: Nursing Assistant, Unit Secretary, PCS, etc.)
- Visual and auditory acuity for information retrieval and computer monitor use.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Current NJ-American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support).
- 4 - 10 hr shifts (6:30am-5:00pm)
