The Perioperative Clinical Supply Technician is responsible for the hands-on maintenance of supply and data within the Clinical Supply Chain.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One Year Inventory Management in a Store Room or Warehouse setting

Responsibilities

• Liaison between Central Supply and Operating Rooms (ORs) for contaminations, missing items, reprocessing, supporting room/location level replenishment as standard work as well as ad hoc requests throughout the day.
• Transporting carts/equipment from storage areas to rooms, and transport of vendor trays from Central Supply to OR and back.
• Responsible for daily/weekly cycle counts using Tecsys handheld scanners and for maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Reviews daily orders and expresses issue and/or cancels any lines as required to the pick lists/supply orders.
• Partners with system inventory analyst to manage and maintain local inventory data including maintenance of accurate bar code labeling of all items in storerooms and clinical areas.
• Reviews cancelled backorders from automated supply cabinet orders and fills/express issue any lines as applicable on receipt of goods.
• Assists Supply Chain Operations/Receiving staff with receiving issues and discrepancies for the facility including investigation and support of resolution of match exceptions due to missed receipts.
• Resolves questions from internal customers regarding storeroom items. Resolves item number and requisition concerns for storeroom items.
