About The Position
Could you be our next Perioperative Aide/Operating Room Assistant II at Lankenau Hospital? Why work as a Perioperative Aide/Operating Room Assistant II? Make an Impact! You are an integral member of the Perioperative Team! As an Perioperative Aide, you will work with Surgical Technicians, OR Nurses, Anesthesia and Surgeons to provide personal and environmental care and comfort to patients undergoing surgery. Perioperative Aides are responsible for cleaning and sterilizing the Operating Room and OR equipment after each procedure, restocking sterile supplies, and transporting patients, equipment, and specimens, among other duties as required. This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full or Part Time status. Requirements
- High School or GED required
- Heartsaver BLS certification
- Previous Operating Room Assistant I or related Health Care experience preferred.
