About The Position

The Perioperative Aide will perform specific nursing-related duties in providing for the personal and environmental care and comfort of patients ranging in age from infant to geriatric. The Perioperative Aide will work in a structured environment under the supervision of a Specialty Team Coordinator (STC) and/or Assistant Nurse Manager reporting to the Nurse Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager. The Perioperative Aide will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care in accordance with the unit's an department's approved standards, policies and procedures. Requirements

  • High School or GED
  • BLS Certified, or obtained within first 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Operating Room Assistant experience or other related Health Care experience required preferred.
  • Successful completion of orientation, including Computer Based Training as required.
