We are looking to hire a PeriOp Inventory Tech. As a PeriOp Inventory Tech at MercyOne, performs essential base-level tasks and functions related to service fulfillment, disinfection & sanitation in patient facing, ancillary or back-office areas Provides service, support & colleague or customer support in accordance with level of experience, education, regulatory agency standards & established policies & procedures. Conducts daily functions in a compassionate, ethical & respectful manner. Supports patients, families & guests in exceeding their expectations. Demonstrates the ability to deliver personalized care & services unique to the patients' & families' expectations / needs. Schedule: PRN; hours will vary

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Previous perioperative service or inventory management experience preferred.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed.
  • Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products to ensure that appropriate levels are established.
  • Identify excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits.
  • Notifies leader of outdates or slow-moving inventory.
  • Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items, issues and credits materials from the inventory management system.
  • Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly stock locations, and labeling bins and handling requests to change pars.
  • Acts as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management as needed.
  • Works with and follows instructions of buyers and other Supply Chain personnel in the events of recalls to pull relevant products.
