Requirements

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Completion of a CODA-accredited Periodontics residency program
  • Active Colorado Dental License (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Periodontics
  • Current BLS certification (sedation certification preferred)
  • Excellent clinical judgment, patient management, and communication skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care and ongoing professional growth

Responsibilities

  • Perform a full scope of periodontal and implant procedures, including:
  • Routine and complex extractions
  • Third molar (wisdom tooth) extractions
  • Alveoloplasty and surgical site preparation
  • Pre-prosthetic surgery
  • Dental implant placement, bone and soft tissue grafting
  • Ridge preservation, sinus augmentation, and crown lengthening
  • Soft tissue grafts for root coverage and esthetics
  • Collaborate with oral surgeons and referring dentists on multidisciplinary treatment plans
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients using CBCT and intraoral imaging
  • Deliver excellent chairside communication and patient education
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold best-in-class surgical standards
