We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Periodontist to join our established practice in Union, New Jersey, one day per week (Mondays preferably). This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist looking to add a consistent, high-producing day to their schedule in a well-supported and reputable practice. This role offers a strong internal referral base, consistent patient demand, and the ability to focus on delivering high-quality specialty care in a professional, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school
- Specialty certificate from an accredited residency program in Periodontics
- Active dental license in the state of practice
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat periodontal disease, including non-surgical and surgical therapies
- Perform procedures such as scaling and root planing, periodontal surgery, and implant placement
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans in coordination with referring general dentists
- Educate patients on periodontal health, treatment options, and long-term maintenance
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
