Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • ARDMS or AART registered and in good standing.
  • OB/GYN registry certification.
  • RVT or VT certification or obtain within 12 months
  • BLS certification (must be maintained).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • In-depth knowledge of human development across all ages.
  • Competency in abdomen, breast, and neuro imaging.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to assist and move patients.
  • Proficiency in computer operation for data input and retrieval.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced perinatal ultrasound imaging with precision and expertise.
  • Provide technical support during specialized imaging studies.
  • Serve as a resource to colleagues, fostering collaboration between Perinatal Ultrasound and Medical Imaging departments.
  • Work closely with the Lead Perinatal Sonographer to support training and education initiatives.
