The Perinatal Education Instructor is a nurse with advanced training and skill in Maternal-Child Nursing or a specific allied health field. Works with women of child‑bearing ages.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nursing Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate License
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
Nice To Haves
- International certification in childbirth education or related field.
- Prior clinical and adult education experience.
- Certified as an American Heart Association BLS instructor, or must become certified within probationary period if teaching CPR
Responsibilities
