About The Position
As the Chief Perfusionist at a hospital in St. Augustine, Florida, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating perfusion services in collaboration with the surgical team. This position is critical as the hospital handles an annual pump case load of 200 cases, including 80 standby TAVR cases. Your expertise will ensure high-quality perfusion support during cardiac surgeries and procedures, which is essential for patient safety and successful surgical outcomes. You will be responsible for developing protocols and standards for perfusion practices, ensuring that all procedures meet the highest quality and safety standards.
