About The Position

Summary: Monitors and operates an array of extracorporeal and blood testing equipment during surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Educates hospital staff and visitors about the practice of perfusion. Performs as a clinical instructor for students rotating in the clinical arena (optional). Participates in non-clinical duties as agreed upon with the Chief Perfusionist. Has on call and weekend responsibilities as determined by chief perfusionist We offer a 4-day workweek schedule to promote work-life balance and flexibility.

Requirements

• Successful graduation from an American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion accredited cardiovascular training program.
• Maintains clinical competency as assigned by the chief perfusionist.
