About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Essentia Health as a Perfusionist! In this role you will be able to perform clinical cardiopulmonary bypass management during cardiac surgery, use of cell saver, IABP knowledge, ECMO management for Adults, hypothermic re-warming cases, on patients adolescent through elderly. In addition to these duties, this position stands by for off pump cardiac procedures, TAVRs, laser lead removal, and perform duties for Angiovac cases.

Requirements

• Current certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusionists.
• Bachelor's degree and graduate of an accredited cardiopulmonary perfusion training program and ability to obtain certification within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical cardiopulmonary bypass management during cardiac surgery.
• Use of cell saver.
• Knowledge of IABP.
• Manage ECMO for adults.
• Handle hypothermic re-warming cases.
• Stand by for off pump cardiac procedures.
• Assist with TAVRs.
• Perform laser lead removal.
• Conduct duties for Angiovac cases.
