About The Position

Performs various types of cultural dances. Attends practice sessions to upgrade the quality of performance of current dances. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

  • Must be able to learn, and subsequently perform, the various dances of each assigned Polynesian cultures.
  • Requires good health and a full range of body movement and be capable of moving freely among the guests.
  • Must look Polynesian.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • Should have a grammar school education.
  • Previous Polynesian dancing experience preferred.
  • Must attach a copy of resume and current semester class schedule (Weekly View)
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE THROUGH SUMMER BREAK
  • All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI.
  • Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations
