About The Position

Infosys is seeking a Performance Test Lead. As a Performance Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the non-functional requirements of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and execute tests to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Tampa, FL or willing to relocate.
• Experience in performance engineering and leading end-to-end performance engineering delivery.
• Experience in creating performance test scenarios simulating real-world load patterns.
• Expertise in any APM tool (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, Jprofiler).
• Good communication skills to interact with architects and developers.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Azure and GCP Cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Kafka, or API Orchestrators.
• Experience in driving CoE initiatives and creating process frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement analysis and define test strategy.

• Guide and coach product teams to consider non-functional requirements early in the software development lifecycle.
• Assess end-to-end system performance and define strategies for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Create performance engineering strategies and present to client stakeholders.
• Collect performance measurements to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability.
• Analyze results to alleviate performance bottlenecks and optimize.
• Evaluate areas for performance optimization and provide recommendations.
• Monitor the performance of networks, databases, applications, or other systems.
• Establish and perform periodic process audits and standards assessments.
• Perform functional testing to validate applications of patches.
• Review and enhance technical and functional test management activities.
