Performance Test Lead
About The Position
Akkodis is seeking a Performance Test Lead for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX(Remote). Candidates must have hands-on experience with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner and strong expertise in .NET, SQL Server, and Azure environments. Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Performance Test Lead job responsibilities include: Lead performance testing efforts for applications built on the Microsoft tech stack (.NET Core, SQL Server, Azure), ensuring scalability and reliability. Design and implement performance test strategies and plans, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing. Develop and maintain automated performance tests using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Visual Studio, or Azure DevOps Load Testing. Analyze test results and identify bottlenecks, collaborating with architects and development teams to recommend optimizations. Monitor application performance in pre-production and production environments, ensuring optimal user experience and system stability. Prepare detailed performance reports for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, findings, and actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in performance testing and optimization for enterprise applications.
- Strong expertise in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps Load Testing) and Microsoft tech stack (.NET, SQL Server, Azure).
- Proven ability to design and execute performance test strategies, analyze results, and collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance.
