About The Position

As Performance test engineer you focus on the validation of the performance aspect (response timers, peak load) of applications. You are involved in the automated verification and validation of the performance aspect of system under test.Job Description - Grade SpecificYou are an independent QA Performance Engineer. You are involved in the automated verification and validation of products made by engineers in a development process. Your technical and professional knowledge of Test Automation, programming, test environments and methodologies is solid. With your knowledge and experience with one or more tools and techniques, you can independently design and execute performance test automation solutions. Obviously you follow the latest developments in your field and you know what is going on.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in functional digital testing.
  • Strong understanding of retail/restaurant transaction flows.
  • Knowledge iOS and Android mobile apps
  • Ability to debug logs using xCode/ Logcat.
  • Experience using HTTP Proxy applications: Charles/Fiddler
  • Experience using ADB / Logcat/ StackTrace, etc.
  • Experience with Mobile devl tools (Android Studio/Xcode )
  • Experience with Test/defect management tools (e.g., JIRA,Testrail).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL queries for backend validation)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Web / Digital systems.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing of Web/Digital applications.
  • Validate integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, loyalty/rewards, and back-office applications.
  • Conduct end-to-end transaction testing (web, cash, credit/debit, mobile wallets, discounts, returns, voids, etc.).
  • Log defects, track resolution, and perform retesting.
  • Support automation of POS test scenarios where applicable.
  • Ensure testing aligns with compliance standards
  • Provide detailed test reports and recommend improvements.
