About The Position

We’re looking for a Performance Test Engineer who’s passionate about building fast, scalable, and dependable systems. You’ll help ensure our platform performs well as our customers and usage grow, partnering closely with engineers to catch performance issues early and make our software better every day. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys digging into system behavior, solving complex problems, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality SaaS products.

Requirements

2-5 years experience in performance and/or load testing for web-based applications
Strong understanding of modern application architectures (APIs, distributed systems, microservices)
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like K6, JMeter, LoadRunner, Locust, or similar
Experience analyzing metrics from logs, monitoring tools, or APM platforms
Solid understanding of how systems behave under load (CPU, memory, network, and I/O)

Nice To Haves

Experience working with SaaS products at scale
Familiarity with cloud environments
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container platforms
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation
Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Rollbar, or Grafana

Responsibilities

Design and run performance, load, stress, and endurance tests that reflect real customer usage
Identify performance bottlenecks across applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure
Partner with Software Engineers, QE, and DevOps to troubleshoot issues and improve system performance
Help define performance benchmarks and success criteria
Analyze test results and clearly communicate findings and recommendations
Automate performance tests and integrate them into our CI/CD pipelines
Monitor application performance trends and help prevent issues before they impact customers
Continuously improve our performance testing tools, frameworks, and practices
