About The Position

The Performance Improvement Coordinator at Waterbury Hospital is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Quality and Education Programs for Home Health Services. This role serves as the primary contact for Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Civil Rights complaints and grievances, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards. The coordinator will also implement staff development programs and maintain the agency's policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience in healthcare or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management, and quality improvement processes.
  • Experience in developing and implementing educational programs.

  • Experience with Home Health Services.
  • Familiarity with Medicare regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate VNA Health at Home's Quality and Education Programs for Home Health Services.
  • Serve as the Agency's contact for Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Civil Rights complaints/grievances.
  • Coordinate the process for all certifications, licensures, and accreditations as necessary.
  • Implement education, competencies, and staff development programs/activities.
  • Develop and maintain the Agency's policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Administrator in ensuring Agency compliance with State and Medicare regulations.
  • Perform all other duties as determined necessary by Management.
