THE ROLE Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain the cleanliness of all areas within facility. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures and restock supplies as needs. Maintain and replenish cleaning supplies and materials to ensure adequate stock level. Refinish floors, maintain custodial equipment and monitor waste and recycling. Help with post event clean ups. Make sure facility is properly set as needed for events. Monitor and report any facility maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel. Lead contract custodial staff. Requirements

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning and custodial methods and techniques including the use of chemicals and equipment.
  • Ability to accomplish tasks and duties without direct supervision.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic tools.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, post events, and holidays.
  • Must be able to train and monitor part staff while completing other duties.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in larger facilities with multiple types of floors preferred.
  • Previous custodial experience in a similar facility preferred.
