Per Diem X-Ray Technologist - Rotating Weekends - Weill Cornell We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs and/or computer images of designated portions of the body, under the direction of a radiologist and the supervision of a department supervisor. While this is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility, you will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team. Use your expertise in X-Ray technology to assist with the diagnosis of rare and complex cases. Expand your knowledge, alongside the most highly respected professionals in the field. New graduates and experienced techs welcome! This is a per diem position covering various shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an approved school of radiology
  • New York State Radiologic Technologist License
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • New Graduates: Temporary license required and must supply exam date prior to start of employment.
  • New York State Radiologic Technologist license must be obtained within six months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as an X-Ray Technologist in a hospital environment
