About The Position
Regions Hospital is adding to our General Diagnostics team! The X-ray Technologist will perform basic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and a wide variety of specialized and/or complicated exams, and function as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns. Work Schedule: Per diem shifts as needed. Must work a minimum of one shift per month.
Requirements
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program of Radiologic Technology or ARRT-approved equivalent.
- Twelve months of radiologic technologist clinical experience, preferably in X-ray/General Diagnostics. For previous Regions Hospital radiologic technologist interns, a limited scope license may substitute for experience.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or have passed the limited scope of practice in radiology from ARRT and obtain ARRT registry within six months of hire.
