About The Position

The Per Diem Ultrasound Technician performs Ultrasound exams on both in and out patients and assists radiologists in Ultrasound guided procedures. The technician must work well under stress or tight deadlines and collaborate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, patients, family members, and visitors. The position supports the District Mission and Values, demonstrating respect, professionalism, and courtesy to all stakeholders, as outlined in the LVMC 'Commitment to Care'. The technician is expected to consistently apply C-I-CARE principles in communication and engage in performance improvement activities and professional development.

Requirements

• Education sufficient to apply for ARDMS exam.
• Prior work experience as an Ultrasonographer preferred.
• Obtain ARDMS licensure within 1 year.
• BLS certification.

Benefits
