Per Diem SICU - Advanced Practice Provider
About The Position
Advance Practice Provider for our Surgical/ Trauma ICU at the New Brunswick Campus. Candidate should possess effective time management and critical care skills. Must be able to adapt and adjust to a large volume acute patient population. Skills with procedures such as central line placement, arterial line placement and chest tube placement are preferable. 3-6 years of surgical critical care/ Trauma experience preferred. Experience with POCUS and ultrasound placement of lines is also preferred. Must be able to work autonomously and be willing to provide support to surgical residency program.
Requirements
- Current NJ APN /PA license required
- NCCPA certification required
- CDS required
- DEA required
- BLS required
- ACLS required
Nice To Haves
- Skills with procedures such as central line placement, arterial line placement and chest tube placement are preferable.
- 3-6 years of surgical critical care/ Trauma experience preferred.
