About The Position
Rumford Community Home is seeking a Per Diem RN to join our team for variable shifts! Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoast Maine. CMH's hospital facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. CMH also supports Central Maine Medical Group, a primary and specialty care practice organization. Other system services include the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, a regional trauma program, LifeFlight of Maine's southern Maine base, the Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center and other high-quality clinical services. The RN is responsible for managing individualized direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations by promoting and restoring patients’ health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing exceptional patient experience by supporting and educating the patient and family throughout their hospitalization; functions as the patient advocate while actively following a plan of care responding to changes in condition and/or response to treatments.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License, in the state of Maine, BSN preferred.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
- Current ACLS and BLS (PALS desired)
- TNCC desired
