Requirements

• Graduate from an approved RN nursing program.
• Valid and current Texas RN license.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• 1+ years of RN work experience or previous experience as a KSC RN.
• Ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy.
• Ability to travel within a selected region.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree in nursing.
• Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned.
• ACLS certification.
• Windows based computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards.
• Work 5 shifts per month, including 3 shifts per year the day before or after a clinic holiday, with a minimum of 1 shift related to a winter holiday.
