We are seeking a skilled and dependable Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgery Center team. Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Experience in an outpatient surgery, operating room, or perioperative care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and work independently in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care before, during, and after ophthalmic surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses to anesthesia or medications.
- Assist the surgical team with preparation, instrumentation, and sterile field management.
- Support patient education and post-operative instructions to ensure optimal recovery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and observations.
- Adhere to all infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical technicians to ensure continuity of care.
