As a Per Diem Surgical PA , you'll collaborate with world-class surgeons and multidisciplinary teams in a hospital that pioneered surgical teaching in the U.S. Our Department of Surgery continues a proud tradition of innovation, offering advanced and minimally invasive procedures across multiple specialties. What You'll Do: Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients admitted to the hospital Perform consults, manage floor duties, and assist with OR coverage Work Monday-Friday with no nights, weekends, or holidays Specialties You'll Support: General Surgery, Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic, Upper GI & Small Bowel, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Vascular Surgery, and Urology Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year experience in surgical or critical care medicine Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies NYS PA Licensure Current NCCPA Certification ACLS/BLS NYS Infection Control Certification DEA Certification with NYS Opioid Prescriber compliance Why NYP Brooklyn Methodist? Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies
- NYS PA Licensure
- Current NCCPA Certification
- ACLS/BLS
- NYS Infection Control Certification
- DEA Certification with NYS Opioid Prescriber compliance
