The position involves evaluating, planning, directing, and administering individualized therapeutic treatment programs aimed at restoring or improving function, or preventing disability. The role requires writing evaluations, progress notes/reports, discharge summaries, and maintaining patient files. Additionally, the professional will counsel patients and/or family members regarding rehabilitation diagnosis, plan of care, and prognosis.
