About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician Sterile Compounding is responsible for assisting Pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of compounded sterile preparations (CSPs) and non-sterile drug products. This role involves preparing sterile and non-sterile drug products under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist, adhering to established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and USP guidelines, and maintaining accurate records. Requirements

• Ability to assist Pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of compounded sterile preparations (CSPs) and non-sterile drug products.
• Ability to prepare sterile preparations (CSPs) and non-sterile drug products under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and USP guidelines.
• Ability to maintain accurate records utilizing established policies and procedures.
