Position Summary: Pharmacists perform the day to day responsibilities of drug distribution, computer drug and IV order processing. Perform therapeutic intervention as needed, drug information and consultation to other professional staff and patients, the maintenance of patient profiles, attendance at cardio-pulmonary emergencies, drug therapy monitoring, and drug compounding. The Staff Pharmacist is also responsible for directing technicians, performing inventory control, and actively precepting pharmacy residents, students, technicians or interns as assigned by the supervisor. This position is a Direct Care Provider as defined in Pharmacy Policy

Requirements

  • Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of pharmacy as determined by the CA Board of Pharmacy
  • One year of clinical experience as a licensed pharmacist
  • Current BLS or ACLS upon hire
