About The Position
Bluestone Health Association Inc is a federally qualified health center dedicated to providing highly qualified services to underserves communities. We are currently seeking a licensed, patient-focused pharmacist to join our team on an as-needed basis. Support our pharmacy during peak times, vacations, and special projects. Requirements
- Current and active Pharmacist license in the state of West Virginia.
- Stronge knowledge of medications, compounding and pharmaceutical best practices.
- Excellent communicative, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Prior experience (1) year preferred
Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, dispense and verify prescriptions in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patients outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and endure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Support the pharmacy team with day-to-day operations as needed.
