The Per Diem Patient Access Registrar are responsible for providing patient-oriented service in a clinical or front office setting; performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of patient care, including greeting and checking in patients, answering phones, collecting patient co-pays and insurance payments, processing paperwork, and performing other front office duties as required in a fast-paced, customer-oriented clinical environment. Schedule: This position is per diem in the Emergency Department or other areas based on business needs, generally at least 8-12 hours per month. We are able to consider candidates with a variety of availability, but generally, the more open availability the better. Being able to work weekends or overnight shifts is a HUGE plus!
