Position: Paramedic - Per Diem Shift: Per Diem - varied shifts, minimum requirement of 36 hours per month
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of pre-hospital advanced life support experience or equivalent experience.
- High school graduate.
- Successful completion of an approved EMT-Paramedic program or its equivalent.
- Successful completion of an approved CCEMT-P Program or Critical Care Nursing Program.
- Satisfactory completion of practical and written examinations administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
- Current Pennsylvania certification as an EMT-Paramedic or Pre-Hospital Nurse.
- Current driver’s license valid in Pennsylvania with copy on file.
- Current BCLS and ACLS certifications with copies on file.
- Hazmat Awareness, and EVOC/EMSVO all are required.
Nice To Haves
- Other certifications are encouraged, such as: NREMT-P, PHTLS, BTLS, PALS, NALS, Firefighting 1 or equivalent.
