About The Position

Requirements

  • Possession of a valid Occupational Therapist License by the state of California.
  • Valid BLS Card for health care providers.
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to provide consistent quality care for in-patients.
  • Accept responsibility for patient care during the evaluation and treatment of all occupational therapy-related conditions.
  • Work within the framework of the OT Board of the CA Practice Act and follow all department and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all hospital standards and therapy clinical practice guidelines while performing job duties and responsibilities.
