About The Position
As a Pediatrician with Rochester Regional Health, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare in central and western New York. This position is part-time and is based in the Unity Hospital Nursery, where you will be joining a dedicated team of three physicians and seven Advanced Practice Providers. The facility includes a Level 1, 21-bed Labor and Delivery Unit, complemented by an 8-bed special care nursery. Your responsibilities will encompass delivery room coverage, conducting initial physical examinations of newborns, and diagnosing any illnesses or abnormal physical conditions. Additionally, you will oversee Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, ensuring high standards of care are maintained throughout the nursery. The role offers flexible shift scheduling, allowing you to choose between 8 or 12-hour shifts, which can help accommodate your personal and professional commitments. To qualify for this position, you must be Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) and possess NRP Certification.
