About The Position
The Center for Motivation & Change has been providing compassionate, collaborative and expert evidence-based treatment for people struggling with substance problems for the last 10 years. CMC:Berkshires is our private 15-bed residential treatment center located on 200 acres in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts. We are driven by optimism about people’s capacity to change and by our commitment to the science of change. CMCB is currently hiring for a Per-Diem Nurse. Seeking mature, responsible individuals. Requirements
- An individual licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing in accordance with M.G.L. c. 112, § 74 (Registered Nurse) or an individual licensed by Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing in accordance with M.G.L. c. 112, § 74A (LPN).
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled and caring bedside manner
- Familiarity with use of addiction-related conditions and medications (e.g. assessment of alcohol or opioid withdrawal)
- Desire and ability to be collaborative team player
- Computer proficient and able to utilize new electronic systems
