About The Position

Position Details Primary Department or Practice: UHS Walk-In Norwich ----- Chenango Memorial Hospital – Norwich, NY Pay Range: $77.85–$90.80 per hour Position Highlights Per Diem / Flexible scheduling Competitive hourly rate: $77.85–$90.80 Newly renovated Walk-In Clinic environment Clinic located next to the ED, supporting rapid transitions of care Supportive, community-focused hospital team Collaborative environment with physicians, APPs, nurses, and clinical support staff

Requirements

  • Current NYS license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience required
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and patient‑care skills
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, efficient, high‑quality care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care to walk-in and urgent care patients
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and develop treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Manage acute conditions, minor injuries, and common urgent presentations
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with ED clinicians when patients require a higher level of care
