About The Position

Position Details Primary Department or Practice: UHS Walk-In Norwich ----- Chenango Memorial Hospital – Norwich, NY Pay Range: $77.85–$90.80 per hour Position Highlights Per Diem / Flexible scheduling Competitive hourly rate: $77.85–$90.80 Newly renovated Walk-In Clinic environment Clinic located next to the ED, supporting rapid transitions of care Supportive, community-focused hospital team Collaborative environment with physicians, APPs, nurses, and clinical support staff

Requirements

Current NYS license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience required
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and patient‑care skills
Commitment to delivering compassionate, efficient, high‑quality care

Nice To Haves

Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care to walk-in and urgent care patients
Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and develop treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Manage acute conditions, minor injuries, and common urgent presentations
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with ED clinicians when patients require a higher level of care
