About The Position
VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with dermatology experience to provide skin cancer screenings and general dermatological evaluations onsite at a private business in Boston, MA. Our office arranges the patient appointments, provides all the equipment and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care in an office setting. Requirements
- Active clean Nurse Practitioner (NP) license to practice in the state of Massachuetts.
- Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of direct dermatology experience following post graduate training.
- A collaborating physician is necessary unless state requirements for independent/autonomous practice are met.
- Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Patient education driven.
- Personal laptop or tablet required.
- Must be able to commute to Boston, MA.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced practice certification in dermatology (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Provide skin checks, skin cancer screenings.
- Consult with patients to understand their dermatological health concerns.
- Advise/ refer patients for follow-up care.
